Welcome to the Iwo Jima Legacy Project

THIS SITE IS IN BETA AND ALL DATA WILL BE RESET PRIOR TO ACTIVATING THE LIVE DATA

The Iwo Jima Legacy Project honors and preserves the legacy of those who served at the Battle of Iwo Jima.

We will:

1. Collect and store verified public service records, personal histories, photographs, and oral histories of Iwo Jima veterans.

2. Provide a searchable, mobile-responsive public portal for researchers, family members, and the general public.

3. Provide a publicly available interface for submission of profiles, historical documents, photos, and data

We welcome you to participate by searching for your name or relative(s) here and updating their bios, photos and stories.

Consult the User's Guide for information on using the wiki software.
